I grew up with libraries. It began as I struggled learning to read, checking out books from a Minnehaha bookmobile, at country school. The bookmobile had limited space, an enormous amount of books or so it seemed, and I could check out more books than I could imagine. Our hometown library was your typical Carnegie, I remember trying to read all the science fiction section. Once in HS the librarian was very strict with the limited books in the collection, she would find them, hand the books to you with strict orders on book care and return. College proved to be a place to learn with quiet studying, relaxing, and growth. My degree is a BS in Elementary Education with a library minor, I have extra credits in math, and graduate credits in reading.
