Kelley was born and raised in Wisconsin, and moved out to this area in 1980 for a position in Yellowstone National Park. The desire for a permanent home brought her to Bozeman where she and her husband purchased an 1890 fixer-upper - a true learning experience. She has three children who are growing up and beginning to leave the nest. She finds beauty in simplicity, and enjoys long hikes, bicycling, the disarray of cottage gardens, long slow road trips, and napping on the porch with her dogs. She dreams of traveling, and of building a small cottage of her own design. She joined the Library circulation staff in 2006.
