Sandra Brug grew up in Massachusetts and received her BS in Early Childhood Education from the University of Massachusetts and her MA in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College in California. For twenty years she was a teacher, director and advocate in the field of early childhood education. Sandra has been a children's librarian at our library since 1989 when she started as a substitute. She is a poet, a writer and author of the picture book, Soccer Beat, and many of her poems appear in children's poetry collections. Sandra and her husband have three grown children.
