A former teacher from Ohio who received a B.S. in Education from Ohio State University and a MA in Education from Montana State University,
Robin is currently working as a substitute librarian in the Children's Room. She has taught second grade in Ohio, third grade in Bozeman for many years,
Spanish to preschoolers at a Bozeman Montessori school, and high school social studies and health ed. at Bozeman's Headwaters Academy. Along the
way, she was active with several non-profit groups, currently volunteering at the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. During breaks in and after teaching, she
enjoyed a year of solo travel in Europe, a year of solo travel in New Zealand (bicycling) and Australia, and three months of non-profit work and travel
in Central America.
Robin and her husband Rob recently became empty-nesters when they took their daughter to college in North Carolina. As a long time patron of the
library and one of Cindy Christin's first mothers (with daughter) to participate in her Books and Babies programs, Robin is thrilled to be working with
children again in the ever-dynamic Children's Room! When not at the library, volunteering, or at home, she can be found hiking or cross-country skiing
in Bozeman's mountains, singing with Symphonic Choir, working as a stagehand or usher at MSU or ushering at the Ellen Theater. She is grateful for a
wonderfully fulfilling life in the Gallatin Valley that includes working at the Bozeman Public Library!
