Screen Free Week April 27-May 3
Can you do it? Families are encouraged to try an entire week without screens—TV, videos, computer games—starting on Saturday, April 27 with a kick-off event at the Willson Gym. Activities are planned throughout the community to help in surviving the week with kids, so be sure to click on the link or look for the insert in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle. The game computers in the Children’s Room will be turned off this week (except for homework assignments!). The Library will again host a Celebration Sleepover night for parents and kids who successfully make it a week without screens. Please call the Children’s Desk at 582-2404 for details.

Come visit PlaySpace!
You will find a creative construction zone with a huge array of beautiful wooden blocks designed for children and adults to enjoy together.
Did you know that play helps children develop language and thinking skills, physical skills, and social and emotional abilities? Research shows that parents can promote their children’s learning through play in many ways, and building together offers premium learning and fun opportunities for families with young children.
This project is generously funded by The Friends of the Library. For more information, please call the Children’s Desk at 582-2404.
Check the Library's monthly calendar to find out about Books & Babies, storytimes, afterschool clubs, and special evening and weekend programs. Or give us a call at the Children's Desk at 582-2404 anytime!
