This year our summer reading theme will be "Dig Into Reading!" It all begins on Saturday, June 15 with a Magic Show at 10am and again at 1pm. Families can pick up summer reading packet anytime after school is out! Give us a call at 582-2404 for more information, or stop by the Children's Desk.
Every library does summer reading a unique way. . .here at Bozeman Public Library we encourage kids to read a little every day, to read books for FUN, and to visit the Library to play, to come to programs, to meet friends, to read, find books, or just hang out. Research shows that kids who read six or more books over the summer see improvement in their reading achievement.
Kids get a sticker for every visit to the Library for their reading log, and at the end of the summer we have prizes for kids who visited at least six times.
We have weekly programs for all ages. . . check our monthly calendar on the homepage under "What's Going On" for details.
For more information about our summer reading program and activities, please call 582-2404.
