Cinema Circus West will be premiering 11 short films at the Bozeman Public Library on Saturday, September 7. The films are appropriate for kids ages three to 10, but older kids and adults will enjoy these funny, poignant, and entertaining shorts, too! The added bonus is a circus, replete with a big top tent and ringmaster, on the front Plaza. Due to the popularity of last year’s films and the limited audience space, there will be two showings this year: a matinee from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. and a repeat that evening at 6:00 p.m. Sandwiched in the middle is the circus with face-painting, film-related crafts with ArtSplot, photo booth by Ideal Photography, costumes from Rocky Mountain Toy Company, juggling, break dancers, wildlife activities with the Greater Yellowstone Coalition, and a premiere of Grizzly Creek Films’ Kinect Nat Geo TV: America the Wild, the first wildlife program ever transformed into a two-way television experience. With yummy meals from a variety of food trucks and vendors, families can enjoy a complete experience of circus and film. This extremely family-friendly event is free and open to everyone, but be sure to get a ticket for the films, available that day – find the table on the Plaza, starting at 2:00 p.m. This event is made possible by the generous sponsorships of the Bozeman Film Festival, First Security Bank, Pizza Campania, Music Villa, and the Bozeman Library Foundation.
