THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK CLUB
The Friends Book Club cordially invites all interested readers to attend the monthly meetings. Meetings are held from Sept-May on the second Wednesday of the month, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Large Community Meeting Room. A limited number of copies of the book selected are available for members to borrow. Bozeman Public Library also attempts to provide copies of the selection in large type and CD format. Once the selected titles have been discussed, Book Club Kits are created that contain 8-10 copies of the book, information about the author, reviews of the book, and discussion questions for other book clubs to use. GREAT BOOKS DISCUSSION GROUP
Great Books discussion groups are forums for thoughtful adults to read and discuss significant works of fiction, philosophy, political science, poetry, and drama. Great Books discussions are open-ended gatherings where people of all backgrounds come to talk about substantial literature and the great ideas and issues that literature addresses. The Albert Gallatin Society for Great Books Discussion Group meets at the Library on the third Saturday of the month at 10:15. For more information, call Neil Lynch at (406)763-4380.
KIDS' BOOK GROUP
The Kids Book Group meets monthly on Thursdays at 4 p.m. to talk about a new title chosen every month. The Kids' Book Group is open to readers ages 8 and up; parents are welcome! Call the Children's Desk at 582-2404 for details.
