If you’ve ever browsed the Library catalog online, chances are you’ve seen the bright red links next to each item title which read “Place a Hold.” You may even have placed a hold yourself, or had a Librarian offer to hold an item for you. We even have an enthusiastic team of volunteers and staff who search the shelves every morning to find books for you! Over 950 holds requests are placed every month at Bozeman Public Library.
However, only 50% of those holds processed by Library staff are ever picked up within the 7 day holding period. In an effort to better serve you and make sure you get exactly what you need every time, we are asking our patrons to give us feedback on how we can enhance our holds system. Please take a few minutes to fill out a brief survey, either in the Library or online.
