The Library Foundation will host the 11th Avenue String Quartet on Monday, May 6 at noon in the large Community Room as the fourth performance in the “Noon Notes at the Library” chamber music series. This is a group of talented students from MSU. Among the pieces performed will be American Folk Hymn Settings by Kenji Bunch, Gettysburg by Mark Summer, and Fandango by Michael McClean. Please contact Paula at 582-2426 or Dr. Julia Cory at 512-497-1916 with questions.
The series is sponsored by the Library Foundation, the Montana Chamber Music Society, and MSU School of Music. The best of Bozeman’s classical musicians get out of the concert hall and into the Library for a dressed down, kid-friendly experience. The public is invited to explore music that is original, exciting, and fun at these free concerts.
