Short films are nice because they can tell a story that isn’t two hours long . . . Plus you can watch lots of different ones in a shorter time!” These were the wise words of 10-year old Kid Critic, Tom Rath.
Cinema Circus West will premier 11 short films at the Library on Saturday, September 7. The films are appropriate for kids age three to 10, but older kids and adults will enjoy these funny, poignant, and entertaining shorts too! Due to the popularity of last year’s, there will be two showings this year: a matinee from 3 - 4pm and a repeat that evening from 6 - 7pm.
Sandwiched in the middle is the circus! Enjoy face-painting, a photo booth by Ideal Photography, costumes from Rocky Mountain Toy Company, juggling, break dancers, and wildlife activities with the Greater Yellowstone Coalition. You can see a premiere of Grizzly Creek Films’ Kinect Nat Geo TV: America the Wild , the first wildlife program ever transformed into a two-way television experience. Meals are available from a variety of food trucks and vendors, so plan to come for the whole experience!
This family-friendly event is free and open to everyone, but be sure to get a ticket for the films at the special table on the Plaza starting at 2pm. This event is made possible by the generous sponsorships of the Bozeman Film Festival, First Security Bank, Pizza Campania, Music Villa, and the Bozeman Library Foundation.
