The Library is starting a seed library for gardeners, green thumbs and greenhorns alike! Here's how it works: borrow seeds from BPL, plant them, tend to them, harvest them, enjoy the fruits of your labor, and at the end of the growing season, save those seeds, and return them to the Library in the fall! Look for gardening classes throughout the year.
Our kickoff event is the Bozeman Seed Swap! On Saturday, April 1, drop off seeds for the exchange starting at noon, enjoy speakers on topics such as sweet pea growing and seed saving from 1-2:30pm, and stay for the seed exchange from 2:30-4pm in our community rooms in the library atrium. For more information call 582-2416. The Seed Exchange is co-sponsored by the Black Robin Farm.
