Calling all 5th and 6th graders! The Bozeman Public Library is part of the Children’s Choices Award voting starting September 18 and continuing through January 19. The Library has hundreds of brand new books for 5th and 6th graders to read, and each title has a number. Students can borrow the books, and vote electronically using the number of the book by clicking on the link at the Library’s website.
Vote Here: Children's Choices Voting 2017
Each year, over 36,000 children from different regions of the United States read newly-published children’s and young adult trade books and vote for the ones they like best. Montana was chosen this year over 8 other states. These Children’s Choices, selected from more than 900 titles, can then be found on a list of 2018 books children really enjoy reading. The project is co-sponsored by the Children’s Book Council and the International Literacy Association (ILA). There are 314 titles for books for grades 5 and 6!
