New borrowing rules begin on April 1st, 2013
You may request a maximum of 10 items a month, with no limit on how many are on order at a time
What you need before you start: a current Bozeman Public Library card with fines below $2
Requests can be made through the Reference Desk or through the “Interlibrary Loan from Home” (Call 582-2410 for authorization number and password) and “Interlibrary Loan from within the Library” links on this page
Check-out period: depends on the lending library, can vary between 1 to 6 weeks
Renewals: only 1 renewal, if allowed by lending library
• renewals by be requested up to the due date
• overdue Interlibrary Loan items are not renewable
Overdue fines: 50 cents per day with a maximum of $10 per item
General guidelines for requests:
•We do not request items owned by the Bozeman Public Library or items published within the last year
• DVDs can be more difficult to borrow; please consider trying a local video rental store first
• Re-requests for items are only allowed after 1 month has passed from previous request
• If Interlibrary loan items are not picked up 2 times, borrowing privileges will be suspended for 1 year
