The Library provides meeting room space for Library sponsored and co-sponsored programs. When not being used by the Library, the rooms are available for programs of an informational, educational, cultural, or civic nature.
All meetings must be free and open to the public. Charges are permitted in the form of a reasonable tuition fee for workshops and seminars to cover learning materials or course credits, but the program must be open for observation to members of the public who don't pay fees. No business promotion, selling, solicitation, or taking of orders may occur within the meeting rooms. This includes fundraising and donations.
Groups can have up to two reservations scheduled. Space may not be reserved on a continuous basis for weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly meetings. Exceptions may be made for governmental agencies and for groups that are co-sponsored by the Library. Is your group interested in having coffee or tea service provided for your meeting? Lindley Perk Coffee Shop is located inside the Library Lobby. Give them a call at 570-7752, email at firstname.lastname@example.org or see their website page for more information and current specials. They are open Monday-Thursday 9:30am-6:30pm; Friday-Saturday 9:30am-5pm; Sunday 12:30-4:30pm but arrangements can be made for additional times.

To schedule a meeting space, call the Information Desk at (406)582-2427. Meeting spaces can be reserved up to 3 months in advance. The event must be confirmed within seven days of making the reservation by completing the Meeting Space Confirmation Form which is available below on this webpage and at the Information Desk. A printable version is available through a link at the bottom of the page.
Please call at least three days in advance to cancel a reservation. Reserving a room and not showing up to use it without cancelling the reservation may result in restriction on future reservations.
Spaces are available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:15 a.m.- 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 pm. Meeting spaces are not available on holidays. The seating capacity in the large community room is 100 people and in the small conference room is 36 people. The standing capacity in the large community room is 200 people and in the small conference room is 75 people.
Use of the meeting space does not imply endorsement, support, or co-sponsorship by the Bozeman Public Library of the activities that take place in the meeting space or of the beliefs of the groups using the meeting space. Groups or individuals using the meeting space may not imply that the event or program is sponsored, co-sponsored, or endorsed by the Library in any advertising or publicity.
