The Library offers computers, internet access, wi-fi, printing, scanning and other technology services. Equipment and software are available to help with accessibility. Over 40 desktop computers and laptops are located throughout the Library. All computers are Windows 7 and have Microsoft Office 2007, Publisher, and provide access to the Internet. The laptops have a webcam and microphone for skyping and other applications. Gallatin County residents use their free library card; visitors can obtain a free guest pass.
Printing is available from all internet computers, Library laptops. Pages are $.10 each for black and white, and $.50 for color. Patrons with a Library card get $.50 worth of printing free daily. Wireless printing is available here. Patrons can also send a print job from home and pick it up here, using our Print from Anywhere service. Call the Computer Services desk at 582-2422 with any questions.
The Library's wireless network is libraryguest (no password required). Instructions on printing from you personal laptop or tablet can be found here.
Scanning and Faxing
A document scanner is available for public use. Faxing is available through the free FaxZero website.
Assistance and Computer Classes
The staff at the Computer Help Desk will be happy to get you started on the Library computers and will help you with technology questions, including downloading audio and e-books to your personal devices using MontanaLibrary2Go.
