Welcome! The Library offers computers, internet access, wi-fi, printing, scanning and other technology services. Equipment and software are available to help with accessibility. Public Computers Over 40 desktop computers and laptops are located throughout the Library. All computers are Windows 7 and have Microsoft Office 2007, Publisher, and provide access to the Internet. The laptops have a webcam and microphone for skyping and other applications. Gallatin County residents use their free library card; visitors can obtain a free guest pass.
Printing Printing is available from all internet computers and Library laptops. The first 5 pages each day are free; additional pages are $.10 each for black and white, and $1.00 for color. Wireless printing is also available.
Wireless Access The Library's wireless network is libraryguest (no password required). Visit the Computer Services Help Desk for information about installing a printer driver on your personal laptop.
Scanning and Faxing A document scanner is available for public use. Faxing is available through the free FaxZero website.
Assistance and Computer Classes The staff at the Computer Help Desk will be happy to get you started on the Library computers and will help you with technology questions, including downloading audio and e-books to your personal devices using MontanaLibrary2Go. Computer Classes are offered at the Library every Tuesday at 2 pm. Call the Library at 582-2422 to make a reservation.
