Our Mission The Foundation seeks to increase and enhance the quality of services, programs, and community events offered by the Bozeman Public Library, benefiting the residents and communities it serves, while advocating for private and public support of the Library.

The Need Every day, more than 1,100 people use the Bozeman Public Library. The basic operations of the library, such as building maintenance, essential staff, and purchases of books and materials, are supported by tax monies from the City of Bozeman and Gallatin County. Because government funding alone cannot meet the rising costs and community’s needs, the Bozeman Public Library Foundation is asking for your support.

Giving Your Gift It is easy to support the library. The Bozeman Public Library Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, accepting tax-deductible contributions. Please call the Foundation Office at 582-2426 to learn more, or print and complete the Contribution Card, or visit www.bozemanlibraryfoundation.org (coming soon). Your contribution may also be made through a bequest in your will or a planned gift, such as life insurance or a charitable trust, which may provide extra tax advantages to the donor. For more information, please consult your tax accountant, attorney, or financial planner.

990 tax forms available upon request.
