Do you like getting free things? Do you like reading? Turn your summer reading plans into a chance to get free goodies with our Summer Reading Raffle. Participate in two ways, pick up a reading challenge bookmark from the library or the reading log. Complete either the reading log or the reading challenge and return it with your information. We have four bags of goodies that include things like puzzles, books, swag, totes and more! The reading challenges will be available on June 1st from the main floor library desk. Return them by July 31st to get your name in the drawing.
And if summer makes you think of vacation, you're not alone! We don't know what the weather holds, but we are ready for the start of summer at BPL.
Join us in the large community room for a preview of the OCEANS OF POSSIBILITES this summer will bring! Help us make a cardboard cabana, go on a merfolk scavenger hunt, enjoy the ocean with Blue Planet on the big screen, get silly in our photo booth, and be the first to have a sneak preview of what will be going on at BPL this summer. We'll even have tiki umbrellas for your bubbly water!
There will be live music by Aaron Banfield and Gabe Lavin, two of the musicians in the Molotov Quintet, performing at this summer's Music on the Green on July 17.
