Start Your Own Book Club

Book Club Kits can be reserved online using KitKeeper or in person at the Circulation Desk. Borrowers must have a library card, email address, and less than $10 in library fines. One kit may be checked out per library card for a six-week loan period with no renewals allowed. 

Each kit contains: 10 copies of the book, sign out sheets, comments survey, information about the author, discussion questions, and a current list of book club kits. Some kits contain an unabridged audio recording of the book. Additional copies of the book club kit titles may be available in audio, large type, and eBook.  

Book Club Kit selections include: Biographies, Fiction, Nonfiction, Short Story Collections, and Young Adult Novels.

Reserve a Book Club Kit

• Visit KitKeeper
• Select your kit and place it on hold using your library card bar code. You can browse by availability for specific dates and genre. You will receive an email confirmation for your hold.  
• Come to the Library and pick up your “hold,” which is a book dummy shelved with the regular holds. Exchange the book dummy for the kit at the Circulation Desk.
