Volunteer!  *limited in-person volunteering*

Need to get some community service hours?  Or just want to help out?  Volunteers, ages 14-18, are welcome at the Library!  Teen volunteers perform a variety of duties, but most importantly they organize and re-shelf returned books and help with children's activities. You will need to fill out a volunteer application and meet with the Teen Librarian, Kate, to answer a few questions and arrange training. For minors, a guardian’s signature is required. Call (406) 582-2414 for more information.

*Note: short-term/temporary volunteering is limited to a maximum of 12 hours*

Virtual Volunteering/Community Service

With the Library doing limited in-person volunteering, there are are still projects you can do for the Library that can earn you community service hours for teens age 14-18.  If you need hours for a specific program, please verify with your organization that participation in this virtual volunteering program meets their community service requirements.  Virtual volunteers will receive service hours for each submitted and accepted project, with the amount depending on type of project submitted (see link below).                          Any questions, please email our Teen Services Librarian or call (406)582-2414.

Virtual Volunteer Projects submission form:  Please limit to one project per submission form.  Virtual volunteers may submit multiple projects as long as they are unique/not duplicates of previous projects.  *Note that projects need to be appropriate for an all ages audience.

Virtual Volunteer Projects list:  Note that different project are worth different amounts of service time.  If more than one projects is submitted, a combined total of service time will be verified and sent back to the teen Virtual Volunteer.
