The Library’s meeting rooms are a venue for organizations, groups, and individuals seeking to hold programs of an informational, educational, cultural, or civic nature. All events held at the Library must be free and open to the public. Business promotion is prohibited. Priority scheduling is reserved for Library and government programs. All room bookings require an up to date Bozeman Public Library card, except the study rooms.
Please review the Meeting Space Use Policy to make sure the Library is the appropriate meeting venue.
Make A Reservation
- If assistance is needed, call (406)582-2430 (phone messages will be responded to within two business days).
- No-show policy: we allow a 15 minute grace period; reservations may be forfeited after that time.
Spaces
Indoor Spaces
- Study Rooms are available for up to 2 hours/day every day. Bookable 7 days in advance. No library card required.
- Bitterroot Room: accommodates up to 4 people
- Buttercup Room: accommodates up to 4 people
- Open Door: accommodates up to 6 people. Located on the first floor.
- Conference Rooms are available for all library open hours, up to 4 bookings every 30 days. Bookable 60 days in advance. Valid Bozeman Public Library card required. Both rooms have a TV monitor, HDMI cord, and USB-C, Displayport, Mini Displayport, and Mini HDMI adapters.
- Aspen Room: accommodates up to 6 people
- Ponderosa Room: accommodates 5 to 8 people
- Meeting Rooms are available for all library open hours, up to 2 bookings every 60 days. Bookable 75 days in advance. Valid Bozeman Public Library card required. Both rooms have a TV monitor, HDMI cord, movable tables and chairs, projector, screen, and microphones (handheld, gooseneck, lapel). In addition, USB-C, Displayport, Mini Displayport, and Mini HDMI adapters are provided.
- Community Room: Max capacity 183 (standing room only), 120 chairs provided.
- Cottonwood Room: accommodates 9 to 20 people

When are Spaces Available?
- Monday - Thursday: 10am - 8pm
- Friday: 10am - 6pm
- Saturday: 10am - 5pm
- Sunday: 1pm - 5pm
- Rooms are only available during Library open hours and are not available on holidays.
Using the Meeting Rooms
- All meetings must be free and open to the public.
- Meeting rooms may be reserved up to 75 days in advance. Groups may have up to 2 reservations for a Meeting Room within a 60 day period.
- Conference rooms may be reserved up to 60 days in advance. Groups may have up to 4 reservations for a Conference Room within a 30 day period.
- Meetings must take place during open Library hours, including set up and tear down.
- No business promotion, selling, solicitation, taking orders, fundraising, or donation based events may occur in the rooms.
- Use of meeting rooms does not imply endorsement, support, or co-sponsorship by the Bozeman Public Library.
- Groups are responsible for clean-up. Failure to clean up after a meeting may result in the denial of future reservation requests.

Confirming Your Reservation
Once you have submitted your booking, you will receive an email that your reservation has been submitted for review, and, once the reservation has been reviewed, you will receive another email confirming or denying the reservation.
