Supplement your watery summer reads with a screening of “A River Runs Through It”. This 1992 movie is based on the novel of the same name Norman Maclean and is set in Missoula between World War I and the Great Depression. The movie follows two brothers who learned to fly fish on the Blackfoot river. The film won the Academy Award for best cinematography and received several other nominations.
Prior to the movie showing at the Bozeman Public Library, the River’s Edge Fly Show will have a free casting clinic for anyone interested in learning how to cast a line or would like experts to work with them on their casting. The casting clinic will take place from 4:30 to 5:15 PM on the front lawn of the library and the movie will be screened in the large community room, starting at 5:30 PM. Both events will take place on Thursday, July 28th.
