HRDC's Literacy Carnival (in partnership with BPL)

This annual event by HRDC's Early Childhood programs is designed to celebrate our love of reading and our love of fun.

Held in partnership with the Bozeman Public Library, this event is held on the lawn of the Bozeman Public Library, where carnival games that are developmentally appropriate for preschoolers and their families are set up, and the whole family is invited to share in the fun.

This is a great opportunity at the beginning of the year for our families to connect and get to know each other. Community partners are invited to participate in this event and connect with families.

Prizes are awarded to every child and each game, and dinner is provided for the families attending. Every child who attends the Carnival is able to take home a book with them to continue the celebration of reading.
