Big Kid STEAM Play: Needle Felting
Especially for kids ages 5-11 and their caregivers
January 2-30 during all library open hours
Elementary-aged kids can explore needle felting, a fiber art technique that uses a barbed needle to agitate the keratin scales of wool fibers and create a sturdy textile. Stop by the Children’s Room anytime during library hours to explore this ancient art form and create woolen sculptures of your own design. Note: wool contains lanolin, a natural oil. Some people are allergic to lanolin.
