Bozeman Public Library is offering a Craft Supply Swap. This swap is a great chance of exchanging new or like new supplies for hobbies and crafts you’re no longer interested for other supplies for things that you might be interested in trying out. Consider the swap when you’re cleaning out your closets and you find that stack of cardstock from the month in 2015 when you got really into card making! Please bring items that are in good condition and no UFOs (unfinished objects). This supply swap could include items such as yarn, fabric, blank canvases, drawing and painting supplies, jewelry making supplies and more.
The entire event takes place on Saturday, July 22. Here’s how it will work.
- Bring new or like new items to the library on Saturday before the event. Items will only be accepted on the Saturday, July 22. Items will be sorted and set up by library staff and volunteers. You’ll receive a token indicating that you dropped off an item.
- The Swap will start at 1pm and those with tokens will have first opportunity to browse the swap.
- From 4pm to 5pm the swap opens to the general public (those without tokens) to pick up anything that remains.
- After 5pm (when the library closes) all unclaimed items will be donated to the library for future programming or to local organizations.
We hope to see you there.
