National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, September 19!
For anyone interested in registering to vote, there will be a table in the Library entrance staffed by the League of Women Voters and Forward Montana, both non-partisan, non-profit, national organizations from 11 AM – 3 PM. These groups and Bozeman Public Library are dedicated to registering voters, providing candidate forums and information about ballot initiatives. This is a free service. All are welcome to learn more about voting in elections; and issues and candidates on the ballot.
To vote in Montana, you must:
- Produce an acceptable and current identification such as a Montana Driver’s License, a United States passport, a Military ID Card, or a Tribal ID card.
- Be 18 years or older on or before the next election.
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be a resident of Montana for at least 30 days.
